The 2010 Interschool commenced last Monday at three venues throughout Auckland.
Dilworth School started well to defend their title with a clean sweep against a very inexperienced Auckland Grammar B team.
In Section B Auckland Grammar A turned the table on the Dilworth B team also winning all their games by a large margin. Diocesan School for Girls won 2 of their 3 games against St Cuthbert’s College. The winning St Cuthbert’s team consisted of Isobel Freeman and Kim Lee, who succeeded in winning their game by 15 shots.
Kelston Boys High School, the 2009-2010 Runners up in this competition, had to pull out all the stops to overcome a talented team from Lynfield College.
Lynfied College, under the guidance of New Lynn Club member, Grant Angus, could be the surprise prize package this year.
Henderson High School sides played well against a young group of St Dominic’s College. This team consists of all Year 9 students and we hope they enjoy the experience.
