While most of the fancied teams made it through to the cup, the top three qualifiers all lost their first games on Sunday throwing the tournament wide open. After lunch two three winners emerged and in the end it was the team of Garry Hawks, Lauranne Croot and Caroline DuBois who triumphed as the only 4 winner, winning their last game on an extra end tiebreaker. The bowls 3Five concept was popular with the players and certainly produced plenty of upsets.
